Artist's Comments

I did this as part of an art trade with Anaya (~Anaya-Lotica).
She asked me to do her Sonic-character "Anaya the Wolf" with "Jet the Hawk" from the recent Sonic Riders game.
I never drew Jet the Hawk before, but it was no big deal. I practiced a bit and got the hang of it.
She also said that she liked gothic atmospheres so I drew this with the idea than when I drew the Shadow-Amy dance pic.
...of course, to do that, I had to give some clothes to the characters.
So Jet gets scars, and ragged clothes with lotsa belts.
Anaya... I looked at her pics and improvised something semi-new from what I saw.

I had fun playing with shapes to give the impression of perspective. ;)

PS: Before you ask, I will not take art-trades from anyone other than my friends and people who I know really well.

wow! I like the background in this one, almost looks 3D :wow: the gal's dress is lovely, and though the overall scene feels misrable and sad, it still carried a soft, nostelgic sense to it... or maybe it's just me :slow: at any case, the somewhat faded colors and feeling, I'd say they're standing in the calm before the storm, huh...

that is so AWSOME!!! first i love the detail, wonderful DETAIL! ^^ second i love the view of the drawing, looks like they are fading into darkness or something. i would like to be your friend because you seem like a nice guy to talk to, also you know how i feel about like orginal character and stuff like that^^ i just like really like chatting with you when you come on MSN.
