When Shadow told Amy about a promise he made to her near the end of the story in Sonic Adventure 2, I thought it was really kind of him. Too bad it's the only time we see him interact with Amy...
So I speculated and did something crazy. >U<

That's such a beautiful picture... ;_; I have to agree.... I think that, while Shadow has his serious side, he has a 'soft spot' for females. Not once, ever, in the entire game, had he ever lashed out at any of the female cast... he was always a gentleman, and accepted what they had to say. (Even Rouge managed to make him actually STOP and THINK... He looked so sad....)

I think, while Shadow still feels lost, that Maria's kindness will always remind him, everytime he sees a female... never to harm, nor hurt them... It's like Maria gave him a lesson on how to behave like a gentleman. No matter what their personality was, he never hurt them. Aww....

This composition is very nice, too. Subtle, with the rain effects, and enough to make it known that Shadow cares... despite his harsh personality...
