(Re)Introducing Nack the Weasel! Or Fang the Sniper, in Japanese.
I personally only played one Sonic game where Fang appeared, and it was Sonic Triple Trouble. He was pretty useless in that game and never stood out as a character who could "make" a game, so I understand if Sonic Team decided to remove him from the character roster in the new games. I guess he was replaced by Rouge the bat, who is also a treasure hunter. Poor Fang. Anyways, for this artwork, my idea was to make a scene on a moving platform with a sunset in the background. I also planned to out-world-ish looking Eggman pillars all around to emphasize on the angle. In the end, I dropped that idea, because the clouds and the sunrays were giving me too much trouble. A _LOT_ of trouble. Also the sunset I ended up doing looks nothing like the photo I used as a reference. Oh well. XD I really, really happy with how Mighty and Espio came out in this pic. Usually I have problems with Mighty and Espio's eyes if they aren't frowning, but in the end, they look fine.  Here, everyone takes a backseat to give place to the only two guys with guns. He IS the kind of sociopathic killer who would try this. And Shadow would most definitely have to resort to lethal force.
Everyone's reactions are perfect. I particularly like Rouge's, though Sonic's also caught my attention. It's hard to make Sonic characters look so thoroughly terrified, yet Amy has that look of "I'm Dead" that just brings out the tension, severity, and urgency of the situation.
Though I must say I'm uncertain of Cream. Is she trying to restrain Shadow, or urging him to save her friend?
I'd actually like to know how this fight turns out.
I noticed you are very good at building epic stories behind your pictures. Bravo! I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
