Artist's Comments

This will be the front page for my website (www.obscurezodiac.com). For once it's something that is not explicitly related to MNT Gaiden (though it is in some way). :P

This is the first time I draw Leonardo seriously in a while.
Yeah, drawing MNT Gaiden made me draw Raph and Mikey 75% and Leo, only like 1% of the time.
I tried reproducing the style seen on the latest Street Fighter 4 artwork - I just tried. And this is what I get. :P
Call it anything you want, I think it's part experimental art, part quick sketch.

Song of inspiration: "Genesis Beyond the Beginning (OP Theme of Ys Origins)"
TMNT is (C) Peter Laird and Mirage Studios.

Cool indeed. The blood indicating the way of the sword makes it more awesome .

(Dunno if I spelled it right ^^;)

oh, wow. I like the cross hatches put into it. The blood looks simple, but cool in that style.
makes it look traditional in a way and sketchy
I think its really cool in all, Leo rulz :D >D

I like this style. I don't see it often from most of the people I'm stalking.. er... watching, so it makes me happy to see them doing new things with their art.

The poses.. simply awesome. :B

You magical artist, you. O:

It almost looks like it were made and painted on a cross thread canvas. That is very well done Iand I can only marvel. It's not very often I've seen something graphic like this from you, Tigerfog. It's easy to follow what's going on too. What a treat!

You're the puppet, and I'm the puppeteer.

An artist is like a God; they choose whether their work gets to live or die.

Yeah, it's as simple as "filter -> crosshatches"
Peh, lazy me... XD

And yeah, Leo rules. I'm really starting to feel really, really bad not contributing to the fandom with more Leo...!

You stalker, you! XD
(note that I also stalk people when I have free time)

Yeah, I'm trying this new thing where I sketch as fast as possible to make things look more natural. And it does work.

Ah, thanks. From time to time, I get all artsy-fartsy (let my inspiration and hand work instead of my brain logic). I'm too scared to take risks and end up with a work that's ruined just because I tried adding a zone of crosshatches or something. O_o

Interesting. O: I don't think I could do such a thing. Every curve has to be perfect to my annoying head. LOL In any case... I'm jealous. XB
